Event Info
Everything you need to know to plan an unforgettable day at the Ottawa Family Pride Festival!
Get Ready for Pride!
The 2023 Ottawa Family Pride Festival takes place on June 10, 2023, featuring a line-up of great family-friendly events, including a lip sync battle and pet parade!
This year’s theme In This Together is an invitation to the community to celebrate and advocate. The Ottawa Family Pride Festival brings our communities together. We are excited to celebrate In This Together with families, friends, and new faces.
At the same time, Pride is rooted in activism. When we come together, we reflect on the challenges our communities face and progress that has been achieved. We continue to advocate for progress and equality.
Our communities are stronger when we are in this together.
Event Schedule
Mercury Stardust will be an outdoor speaking event in the park, and we will have a limited amount of chairs available.
We encourage you to bring your own outdoor chair to enjoy her talk, as well as the other stage entertainment throughout the day!
Frequently Asked Questions

Ok, but what about dogs?
Yes, as long as they aren’t aggressive towards other dogs or people. Consider entering them in the Pet Parade!

No. The Ottawa Family Pride Festival is a rain-or-shine event. Severe weather conditions may require event cancellation, however.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes! There are picnic tables in both park locations. You are welcome to bring your own food and (non-alcoholic) beverages, or purchase from one of our food vendors.
Are there restrooms available?
Yes! We have public port-a-potties available at both park locations. Reddick Public Library has also graciously provided water and restrooms at their facility, too.

Is ASL provided for events?

Thank you to our 2022 Sponsors
The inaugural Ottawa Family Pride Festival was a huge success in part because of sponsorships from companies and individuals alike.
Their generous support enabled us to expand festival programming and make events more accessible, ensured our volunteers had the resources they need to get the job done, and helped Youth Outreach in Ottawa.
Please join us in saying “thank you” to all of our sponsors!
